An upgrade to your computer is a very cost effective way of either increasing performance or adding extra capabilities.
To increase performance, the most effective upgrade is almost certainly going to be a memory upgrade. When a computer needs more memory, it will try to use your hard drive, however this is considerably slower and you will notice a lot of drive noise from your system. A faster processor can also help, but would be insignificant if you need a memory upgrade.
Upgrades to add extra capabilites can include additional or replacement hard drives for more storage, a graphics upgrade to improve screen resolution or game compatibility, a CD or DVD re-writer upgrade, a TV-card upgrade to allow you to watch TV or videos on your computer. The list goes on. Modern PCs can utilise USB for many upgrades, in which case it is unlikerly you will need my help. But you may prefer not to use USB devices, or the upgrade you want is not possible or too expensive with USB, in this case I can help.
